important Survey for people living with dementia
THIS SURVEY HAS NOW CLOSED - THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART, WE WILL UPDATE YOU ON OUR FINDINGS SOON.
Harpenden Town Council would like to hear your views on living with dementia in your local area, to re-assess what could potentially help people living with this condition. This survey can be completed by anyone living with dementia in Harpenden, their carers or family who accompany them within the Town.
In 2019 Harpenden Town Council committed to making Harpenden a Dementia Friendly Town, a place where those living with Dementia are understood, respected and included.
Following our 2019 survey, the Memory Lane Café was formed (in partnership with the Harpenden Trust and Salvation Army). Part of wider initiatives helping Harpenden to become a more dementia friendly town, the café offers a welcoming and understanding environment to enjoy tea and cakes in a relaxed setting.
This survey template was developed in alignment with the Alzheimer's Society parameters and guidance.
If you would like any further information please contact Sarah Brimley, Projects and Community Manager, Harpenden Town Council, tel: 01582 463 548 or email: sarah.brimley@harpenden.gov.uk
