Concourse Bookings

The Concourse is the paved area located between the Lower High Street and A1081, opposite the Library. The Town Council makes a section in front of the cycle stands available to be booked free of charge by local charities, organisations or strategic partners for promotion, sale of goods or to raise money.

You can read our full Policy here. This document includes information about how this section of the Concourse may be used, the types of organisations that may book the area and/or collect money.

Bookings must be made at least one month in advance. A Risk Assessment and a Certificate of Public Liability Insurance must be provided to us along with a Charity Collection Licence from St Albans District Council if money is being collected.

If you are interested booking this area, please contact the Town Council. Email: harpenden.town.council@harpenden.gov.uk or call: 01582 768278.

Grateful thanks to the Children’s Society for this photograph.
