Sports Forum

Harpenden Town Council recently conducted a survey which asked local sports club representatives about sports facilities in Harpenden in order to find out how we can support this important sector.

Provision of outstanding sports facilities is integral to the health and wellbeing of the community and by understanding what’s already on offer, and the challenges faced by sports clubs, we hope to ensure that sport remains accessible, inclusive, affordable and of the highest standard.

As a result of this survey, the Harpenden Sports Forum was formed, bringing together local clubs, coaches and community groups to share ideas, discuss challenges and strengthen collaboration. It focuses on improving facilities, supporting youth development and exploring funding opportunities, helping build a more connected and inclusive sporting community across Harpenden.

Whether your club is large or small, joining the forum offers valuable benefits that help you grow, collaborate, and succeed. The next meeting takes place on Wednesday 15th July 2026.

Tickets are free but must be booked in advance here on Eventbrite. Arrive from 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.
