roundwood green space - urgent tree works

We have identified an immediate health and safety issue with an Oak tree in Roundwood Park Green Space and will be taking urgent action to remove some limbs from the tree that have significant splits. This action is vital to ensure public safety.

 

Whilst we carry out this work, we have put in place an exclusion zone in the open space to limit the risk to members of the public.

 

We have also closed off the public footpath from Park Rise Close.

 

The Council takes a proactive approach to tree management, including regular health and safety surveys and remedial works. Unfortunately, this sometimes means identifying issues that require significant tree works.
