harpenden intergenerational choir

Enjoy the benefits of singing in our welcoming group – a choir for all, regardless of ability!

The Memory Lane Café partners are delighted to invite you to join our wonderful Intergenerational Choir. We welcome people of all ages to our friendly group.

The Choir usually meets every Tuesday at 12.45-1.30pm at the Salvation Army on Church Green, Harpenden.

As we all know, music has the power to lift our spirits. It can make us feel happy, connect us to memories, give us confidence and reduce anxiety. The Intergenerational Choir was set up to provide a place to join friends, have fun, enjoy singing and experience the benefits of mixing with people of all ages. This is an inclusive choir and we offer a special invitation to people living with dementia and their carers.

Students from local school Sir John Lawes and members of the Clover Singing Club join us each week and Harpenden Memory Lane Café volunteers also join in the singing, as well as offering a friendly welcome and cup of tea.

You can find out more information by calling 01582 768278 or revisit this page for updates.

Please remember that "snow means no" - if it snows the Choir will not meet.
