Westfield Recreation Ground

Children Playing at Westfield Recreation Ground

Westfield recreation ground was refurbished in November 2017 following extensive consultation with residents and users including children from The Lea School and Manland Primary.

Two play areas are located on the site - one for small children, the other for older children, along with a newly installed trim trail.  There is also a large open space for general play, football etc.

The official opening of the play area was held on 16 February 2017.  The ground is protected as a Fields in Trust site

As part of the newly installed play equipment, the trim trail is fully integrated with Proludic's fitness app, which allows you to track and incentivise your workout. Download the app on your mobile device now.

Location:  the Recreation Ground can be accessed on foot via Hyde View Road, Westfield Place or Beeching Close (off Westfield Road) or from the end of Willoughby Road (off Ox Lane).
