Tender - Batford Springs Improvement Works Tender Document

Batford Springs Local Nature Reserve sits on the River Lea and is home to several chalk streams fed by boreholes. It is a key site for local people in Harpenden to engage with nature. The reserve is managed by both the Town Council and by the local Batford Springs Volunteers. Many improvements have been made in recent years which include a boardwalk, drilling of boreholes, chalk stream renovation and path surfacing. This tender seeks a contractor to provide improvements to the banks of the sluice stream and chalk stream small stepping stones area.
