Celebrating Eric Morecambe's 100th Birthday

Mark what would have been Eric Morecambe’s 100th birthday in a community celebration at the Eric Morecambe Centre. Come and enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and cake as we come together to honour the life, laughter and legacy of the man who brought joy to millions and who was a treasured part of Harpenden for so many years. We will have a special collection of memorabilia here on the day, including photographs, letters, pipes, glasses, artwork, a pair of Eric’s shoes and more and some guests with their own unique memories of Eric. We invite the local community to come and share their memories, stories, and photographs on the day. Our Museum will also be open during this time. We look forward to welcoming you!
