Batford Springs Open Day

Come along to Harpenden's local nature reserve and investigate the wildlife found all over the reserve. Have a look in the river to see what you can find, sweep through the meadows and see if you can identify the butterflies and crickets you might find there. Meet our wonderful Batford Springs Volunteers and take a tour to learn more about the great work they do to manage the reserve. Tours will last approximately 20 minutes and leave from the Batford Springs HQ at 10:30, 11:30, 12:30 and 13:30.

Bring a packed lunch and have a picnic in the meadows. No booking required! Head to the Batford Springs HQ (on Lower Luton Road) from 10am-2pm.

Please walk or take public transportation to the event where possible as parking is limited
