WildFest in Lydekker

End Time: 2:00 pm

Harpenden Town Council will be celebrating all local wildlife found in Harpenden and all the brilliant local organisations that look after wildlife nearby.

The day will be filled with activities for all the family and will be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to learn about what Harpenden’s green spaces have to offer.

Activities on the day will include sweep netting, dead wood discovery, pond dipping, dragon fly watching, storytelling, bird watching, tree walks, scavenger hunts, animal Olympics, nature crafts and much more!

  • Harpenden Library is running Storytime sessions for under 8's at 11:15am and 1:15pm 
  • Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary  is running educational & awareness talks at 11:30am and 1:30pm
