Harpenden Christmas Carnival & Farmers Market

HARPENDEN TOWN COUNCIL’s annual CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL returns to Harpenden High Street on the 24 NOVEMBER from 12pm. The festivities will include the monthly Farmers’ Market, Santa's Grotto, the Henry Harris Funfair, Main Stage, stilt-walkers, walk about entertainment, Young Enterprise Trade Fair and the much-anticipated PROCESSION which will make its way down Sun lane, along the High Street and up Vaughan Road from 3pm.

Christmas Carnival will take place on 24 November from 12pm-6pm! The Carnival will be extended all the way to Harpenden Fire Station this year. In addition to all of the Christmas Carnival favourites, there will be lots of NEW activities & events this year, including a Mini Stage with even more entertainment, a second bar area, bookable Christmas workshops, outdoor wooden games, Christmas Emergency Services Open Day and a Boutique Christmas Market in conjunction with The Harpenden Collective.

All of the Christmas Carnival favourites will return for 2019: the Farmers’ Market, procession kicking off at 3pm, funfair, Young Enterprise stalls, Main Stage, Santa’s Grotto, and more! Make sure you don’t miss the spectacular CHRISTMAS LIGHT SWITCH ON at 5pm!

PLEASE NOTE:
Free parking will be available at station car parks and the Rothamsted Research car park from 12noon. We encourage people to walk to the event where possible.
 
Please also expect delays when driving; the High Street will be closed for the procession, and smaller roads will also be closed throughout the event. See the programme for these road closures: http://bit.ly/2IUKaUv

If you are attending the Carnival with young children, free Lost Child wristbands will be available at the Town Council Information Tent.
