Batford Springs Family Open Day

Date: 12th May 2018
Start Time: 11:00 am
End Time: 3:00 pm

There will also be free refreshments provided by the Batford Springs Volunteers.

Join us for a FREE afternoon of family fun to celebrate the opening of the new Batford Springs Nature Reserve Centre on Saturday 12 May!

There will be a whole host of free activities for children and families including: 
- GUIDED TOURS OF THE NATURE RESERVE (ALL DAY)
- PLANS FOR NEW BOARDWALK & HABITAT ON DISPLAY
- STREAM DIPPING (12:00 - 13:30)
- BUG HUNTS (13:30 - 15:00)
- WILDLIFE CRAFTS (ALL DAY)

The event will run from 11 am to 3 pm with the official opening of the centre taking place at 11.30 am, presided over by Town Mayor, Cllr Rosemary Farmer.

 

Note: Please bring wellies if you intend on taking part in the pond dipping
