European Regional Development Fund

Councils across England are to share £50m of additional funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF),  to support the safe reopening of the high streets and other commercial area. The money will allow local authorities to put in place additional measures to established safe trading environment for businesses and customers. Harpenden Town Council have applied for a portion of these funds to provide:

  • Social Distancing Markers around the town

  • Hand Sanitising Stations

  • Banners and signs promoting the local retailers and Farmers Markets
