Harpenden Confers First Freedom of the Town | 16/09/2013

A Special Meeting of Harpenden Town Council took place on Thursday 12 September attended by The Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, The Countess of Verulam, and other distinguished guests to confer the Freedom of the Town on The Royal Anglian Regiment.

Harpenden Common has been awarded the Green Flag Award, a sign to local residents and visitors alike that the common is one of the country’s best green open spaces.
