Deputy Town Mayor Rosemary Farmer visits Batford Springs Local Nature Reserve | 09/07/2012

The Deputy Town Mayor, Councillor Rosemary Farmer, was delighted to visit Batford Springs Local Nature Reserve on Sunday 1 July to see how a donation of £200 from Sainsbury’s Community Fund would be used at the Reserve.

Summer Planting and Jubilee Celebrations | 07/06/2012

I have been to some wonderful events since becoming Town Mayor in May and it has been exciting to see the build up to the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations in the Town. The flags and bunting looked suitably festive and the summer planting day went well continuing the theme with red, white and blue plants. I would like to thank all the volunteers who helped, particularly the 1st Harpenden Brownies who worked so enthusiastically on their allocated flowerbed.

Harpenden welcomes its new Town Mayor…… | 18/05/2012

The Annual Meeting of Harpenden Town Council and the Mayor-Making Ceremony took place on Monday 14 May. Councillor Mrs Nicola Linacre was delighted to be elected as the Town Mayor for 2012/13, having served as Deputy Town Mayor for 2011/12. Councillor Rosemary Farmer was elected as the Deputy Town Mayor for 2012/13.
