Week 53

Cheques in the sum of £500 presented to the Town Mayor's Charities | 30/12/2015

The Town Mayor, Councillor Brian Ellis, was delighted to receive two cheques from William Hill, in relation to his Charity Race Night that was recently held in Southdown, Harpenden. The two cheques, in the sum of £500 each, were additional funding from William Hill – matching the amount that they had generated during the Race Night from running the tote and auctioning some fantastic items that they had kindly donated.

The Town Mayor, Councillor Brian Ellis, hosted a very successful Charity Race Night on Saturday 28th November at the Trust Hall in Harpenden.

The Royal Anglian Regiment Make a Presentation to the Town Mayor | 03/11/2015

The Town Mayor, Councillor Brian Ellis, was delighted to be presented with a book by Major Peter Williamson (retired) of The Royal Anglian Regiment, at the Town Hall on Tuesday 3 November. The large volume was published last year to commemorate 50 years of The Royal Anglian Regiment.
