The Town Mayor welcomes the 10th Harpenden Fox Pack to the Town Hall | 21/04/2015

The Town Mayor, Councillor Mary Maynard, was delighted to welcome 30 Cubs from the 10th Harpenden Fox Pack to the Town Hall on Monday 20 April to hold a debate in the format of a Council meeting and to tell them about her role as Town Mayor.

The Town Mayor Presents Awards to Winners of the Harpenden Primary School Story Writing Competition | 08/04/2015

Harpenden Primary Schools had great fun taking part in a Story Writing Competition last week. Winners were chosen by a panel of experts who read the wide selection of anonomised entries and then selected their favourite from each age group. The authors of the best stories were then invited to a prize giving ceremony with the Town Mayor at the Town Hall.

Cheque Presentation to the Town Mayor’s Charities at the Annual Town Meeting | 31/03/2015

The Town Mayor, Councillor Mary Maynard, was delighted to present cheques, each in the sum of £2,700 to her nominated charities; Home-Start St Albans City and District and Community Meeting Point Harpenden - Hightown Praetorian and Churches Association at the Annual Town Meeting on Monday 30 March.
