Deputy Town Mayor 2011/12 - Councillor Mrs Nicola Linacre
Councillor Mrs Nicola Linacre was first elected to the Town Council in May 2007 and has served on several committees including Policy & Finance, HR and Planning. She is absolutely delighted to have been chosen to serve as Deputy Mayor by her fellow councillors for a second time and is looking forward to assisting Michael Weaver during his year as Mayor.
Nicola moved to Harpenden with her husband, Tim in 1987. They have a son and daughter who both attended St Nicholas School, where Nicola served as a school governor for many years, including three as the Chairwoman of Governors. She has also been a volunteer with Victim Support and the Children & Family Services Team, and served on many committees in the Town. She is very keen to do all she can to support Michael Weaver’s two charities this year.
