Deputy Mayor

Harpenden's Deputy Town Mayor for 2019-20 is Councillor Mrs Nicola Linacre.  Nicola was born in Kent and after graduating with a degree in Philosophy & Psychology, moved to London to work at Conservative Central Office.  There she met her husband Tim and they came to Harpenden in 1987 to raise their family.

They have two children, who both attended St Nicholas School, where Nicola served as a governor for ten years, three years as Chair of Governors.

Nicola has previously served as Town Mayor in 2016-17.
